Using a nasal rinse

The Aqualor spray is equipped with a special nozzle that forms a direct stream, which allows you not only to irrigate, but also to effectively rinse the nasal cavity. This procedure should not be performed on children under six months of age, as there is a risk of fluid getting into the middle ear, which can trigger the development of inflammatory processes (otitis media).

Method of rinsing the nasal cavity in two-year-old children:

put the baby on his back;
turn your head to the side;

How to rinse a child's nose

There are drops and there is spray. When that?

You probably know that, as a rule, the drug in the form of a spray is not prescribed to a child under 2 years of age, since the child is afraid of the spray of the drug entering the nose.

This can cause laryngospasm in him, that is, narrowing of the airways with all the ensuing consequences.

But in this case, the manufacturer made a form with a soft, cloud-like, gentle spray. And on the packaging it says “Soft shower”. Therefore, Aqualor Baby spray can be used from birth.

And so that the mother does not accidentally injure the baby’s nasal mucosa, there is a restrictive ring on the spray spout, beyond which you cannot insert the bottle spout into the baby’s nose.

But when to recommend drops and when to use a spray?
