Description
These are liquid probiotics containing living microorganisms - human symbionts - bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, as well as their metabolic products, which are absolutely physiological for humans and have a beneficial effect on the body.
Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli enhance intestinal motility, promote complete digestion of food, inactivate nitrates, improve the absorption of iron salts, calcium, and vitamin D in the intestine.
They participate in the synthesis of vitamins K, thiamine, riboflavin and other B vitamins, as well as folic, nicotinic and pantothenic acids, and promote the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.
Biovestin Lacto is a modern drug for restoring intestinal microflora after the use of antibiotics, antibacterial drugs, intestinal dysfunction,
dysbacteriosis, prenatal preparation, hormonal and radiation therapy, respiratory bacterial vaginosis.
Storage conditions and periods
The bottle with the dietary supplement should be stored at a temperature of 2-6 degrees in the refrigerator, since at room temperature the bacteria contained in it become active, and the concentration of living cells decreases during their vital activity.
A similar temperature regime should be observed when transporting the drug home from the pharmacy. You can use an ice container, an insulated refrigerant pack, or a cooler bag to do this.
During storage, a white film consisting of milk fat may appear on the surface of Biovestin, which dissolves when the bottle warms up to room temperature. Opening the bottle may be accompanied by a pop and slight foaming of the drug, as at this moment carbon dioxide is released from it. It is not recommended to heat the bottle of dietary supplement to 40 degrees or shake it .
Opened vials can be stored in the refrigerator, unopened, for no more than one or two days. If the drug is given to a child under one year of age, re-use of the dietary supplement from an opened bottle is contraindicated. The remainder of the drug can be taken by adult family members.

Release form and composition
The probiotic has a beneficial effect on the health of a patient of any age, due to the living bacteria “Bifidobacterium longum” contained in the composition.
This genus of bacteria is distinguished by its ability to form acids, its rapid rate of reproduction, and its counteracting activity against a number of pathogenic microorganisms, including Staphylococcus aureus.
The composition of the drug Biovestin includes:

- metabolic products of bifidobacteria
