The second active substance (taurine), when ingested, leads to the restoration of metabolic reactions and accelerated healing of damaged tissues. This component exhibits high antiviral and immunostimulating properties and is an antioxidant that inhibits the development of various disorders associated with an excess of oxygen in the body.

The combined action of the 2 components leads to a more pronounced therapeutic effect.

The drug has a low degree of absorption and bioavailability. This effect is due to the influence of protein compounds located in the nasal mucosa, which are responsible for the penetration and transportation of various substances.

Genferon during lactation

Genferon during breastfeeding is allowed to be used to treat infectious diseases, but only after a doctor’s prescription. That is, suppositories and sprays are used under medical supervision.
