Reviews from patients about the use of the drug Candide
Svetlana, 23 years old: “I encountered thrush for the first time and didn’t know what to do. Of course, among my friends there were those who had already had thrush, so I tried to find out from them who should be used to eliminate the symptoms of the disease. The discharge was very strong and the itching was constant, my head and stomach began to hurt, perhaps this was due to constant discomfort. There was a lot of advice, I didn’t know what to use, but as a result I made an appointment with a gynecologist. They took tests there, but the doctor first said that it was definitely thrush. This is what happened according to the test results. I was prescribed local treatment with Candide B6 in the form of suppositories. These are not quite ordinary suppositories; they are called vaginal tablets. They are quite easy to administer because there is an applicator that helps you insert the tablet correctly. First you need to moisten it with water so that it dissolves a little. I did the procedure in the evening, and in the morning there was almost no itching or itching. We can say that it was simply a miracle for me, after the torment I endured. On the doctor’s recommendation, I did the procedure for a few more days as a preventive measure. At the same time, I also took pills for both treatment and prevention. I can’t say how other drugs work, but this one definitely helped me.”
Natalya, 34 years old: “I met a thrush a year ago. She was treated several times, with different drugs, but after a while the thrush came back. Maybe I didn’t treat it completely, maybe the drugs were wrong. Once again I went to the antenatal clinic, again with the same problem. This time I was prescribed Candide tablets. The most interesting thing is that they are quite cheap compared to other drugs. At first I thought that there would be no effect, but surprisingly, already on the second day, it became much easier, one could even say that the main unpleasant sensations disappeared. Since my disease is chronic, the course had to be carried out within a week. I did everything, I also did douching, washing and other procedures so that the inflammatory processes would disappear faster. I also took a pill, also for prevention. As a result, the candles helped a lot. The symptoms have disappeared, nothing worries me. I really hope that the disease will not happen again in the near future.”
Veronica, 25 years old: “I heard a lot about treating thrush with Candide suppositories, and since I myself encountered this problem, I decided to try this remedy on myself. I used vaginal tablets at night. Two days later, all signs of the disease disappeared. The product, although cheap, is effective. It might even be better than expensive analogues.”
Irina, 30 years old: “I got sick with the flu, was treated with antibiotics, and then suddenly discovered that I had thrush. I had to go to the gynecologist to have tests taken and treatment prescribed. As a result, the doctor prescribed me Candide B6 tablets for insertion into the vagina. I had never heard of this drug before; I knew about some antifungal agents from numerous advertisements. And then it turned out that there was a cheap and good treatment. In one go, the discomfort disappeared. I began to feel like a human being. In addition to treating the thrush, it was also necessary to restore the immune system, so I took medications to restore the flora after the flu, apparently this became the cause of the thrush. Now I feel that my body is normal. You don't have to worry anymore. I recommend it to anyone who wants to quickly cure a disease, but it’s still better to go to the doctor first to have an examination. Specialists know what is needed specifically in your case.”

special instructions
To fully treat candidiasis and avoid reinfection, both partners must take Clotrimazole at the same time (for men there are forms in the form of creams, ointments, tablets). The use of vaginal suppositories during menstruation is not recommended. During treatment, you should refrain from sexual intercourse and use other intravaginal products (tampons, spermicides, etc.) is prohibited. Taking Candide B6 suppositories orally is prohibited (from a treatment point of view, it is useless).
In parallel with Candida B6 (Clotrimazole), it is recommended to use systemic drugs, for example, Metronidazole, for trichomoniasis. If candidiasis vulvitis is present, then vaginal suppositories are supplemented with external application of Candida cream. Patients with liver failure should monitor their liver condition. At the first signs of irritation or hypersensitivity, stop taking the drug. It is better to consult a doctor.
Reviews
Doctors say that they often use Candide B6 in their practice. This is an effective, easy to use, affordable drug that very rarely causes unwanted side reactions. In addition, it copes with candidiasis quickly.
Women also respond positively to the pills. Of course, many of them note the unpleasant sensations that arise during the procedure. Tablets, unlike conventional candles, do not have any shell, and therefore do not create additional lubrication.
But in six days you can really get rid of thrush, including chronic ones (in the second case, with the use of additional medications in combination, of course).
But unpleasant symptoms, by the way, begin to disappear by the end of the second day from the start of using the tablets. Your health is improving, and therefore you may want to stop using the drug, but this is strongly not recommended! Because in the first days the symptoms only stop - a deep and thorough effect on the cause of the disease develops a little later.
Candid-B6 during pregnancy
The drug is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy. In the second and third, use only as prescribed by a doctor. At this time, it is necessary to adjust the dosage of the drug based on the tests of the expectant mother. When using Clotrimazole for sanitation of the birth canal, you should handle the applicator with extreme caution. The effect of the drug during breastfeeding is unknown, since no studies have been conducted on the penetration of the active substance into mother's milk.

Pharmacodynamics
Now you can delve deeper into the study of the instructions for the Candide B6 candles. This remedy has antiprotozoal, trichomonacid, as well as antibacterial and antifungal effects.
The drug has a wide spectrum of activity due to its active substance. Clotrimazole is an imidazole derivative. It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, which is a component of the cell membrane of fungi. This leads not only to a change in its structure and properties, but also to cell lysis.
The medication can affect many microorganisms. In high concentrations, it can even infect Trichomonas vaginalis. But clotrimazole is still not omnipotent, and there are microorganisms that are resistant to it. For this reason, the doctor always first examines the patient’s tests, identifies the causative agent of her disease, and only then determines the effective drug.
Drug interactions
The use of other intravaginal and conventional drugs will significantly reduce the therapeutic effect of Clotrimazole (Candide B6). Candide B6 creates an inhibitory effect for polyene antibiotics (Amphotericin B). It is strictly not recommended to combine different intravaginal medications or different antifungal drugs during one course.
Candide B for nail and foot fungus (on the legs)
The use of topical antifungal agents, which include Candide B, has its considerable advantages. They do not enter the bloodstream, which means they have fewer side effects. Often the choice in favor of such drugs due to their safety is made by pregnant and lactating women, as well as elderly people.
Description
Candide B is a topical antifungal anti-inflammatory drug. The cream is used externally only, and is effective against itching and to relieve other eczematous symptoms. If there is no reaction, it can also be used to treat the mucous membranes of the skin.
The active ingredients in the drug are beclomethasone and clotrimazole. Both of these drugs are not antibiotics; clotrimazole has an antifungal effect, beclomethasone is a glucocorticosteroid. Therefore, Candide B is not an antibiotic.
- At the same time, the content of the glucocorticosteroid component (beclomethasone) in the medication indicates that it is hormonal.
- The drug is a topical drug, so eating does not affect its effect.
- Refers to over-the-counter medicines.
- The ointment is not prescribed during menstruation in the early stages of pregnancy.
- There is no scientific data on the use of Candide B in HIV-infected people; the decision on its use in patients with immunosuppression is made by the doctor.
IMPORTANT! When used vaginally, clotrimazole affects the effectiveness of Amphotericin B and a number of other polyene antibiotics.
Candide B is available in only one form of release - as an ointment with an active substance concentration of 1%, in tubes weighing 15 g.
