How the drug works
After administration, the medicine enters the patient’s intestines. The composition contains beneficial bacteria that negatively affect harmful microbes. As a result, the drug destroys pathogenic microflora, enriching the intestines with essential elements. Acipol improves the digestion process and normalizes stool. In addition, the constituent elements have an immunomodulatory effect, as a result of which the body’s resistance to harmful microorganisms increases.
special instructions
Acipol is prohibited from being used only in two cases - in case of hypersensitivity to the main or auxiliary components of the drug or individual lactose intolerance. To learn how to identify the symptoms and treat milk sugar intolerance in a baby, read the link.
Patients with thrush take the drug under the supervision of a doctor, as the risk of exacerbation of the disease increases.
Side effects may occur if the dosage is violated or if there is hypersensitivity to the drug, in which case an allergy manifests itself in the form of rash, itching, and nettle fever.
There is no information about cases of overdose. Acipol is recommended to be consumed together with fermented milk products.
When taking Acipol and antibiotics together, the therapeutic effect of the former is reduced, since the latter inhibit the development of beneficial bacteria. That is why the probiotic is taken after treatment with antibacterial drugs.
When treating younger patients, the powder from the capsule is diluted with water or milk. It is important to monitor the temperature of the liquid; it should not exceed the patient’s body temperature, otherwise the beneficial bacteria will die. According to the instructions, the drug is not prohibited from being taken during pregnancy and lactation.
What is the medicine Acipol for?
Indications for use can be found in the instructions. But this does not mean that a person can determine for himself the advisability of using the drug. Before your appointment, it is recommended to consult with a specialist who can prescribe an individual treatment regimen.
The medication is prescribed for various types of inflammatory reactions in the intestinal area. Such reactions include: dysentery, salmonellosis, adenoviral infections. Acipol is also prescribed for colitis. This medicine is used to treat dysbiosis.
Other indications include the need for long-term antibacterial treatment. The medicine is often used by people with weak immune systems. Acipol has proven itself well in correcting the condition of babies who were born prematurely. The drug is given to correct the gastrointestinal tract. It is in infancy that children often experience gas formation and pain in the abdomen.
Can there be an overdose?
To date, there is no data on cases of acipol overdose, but theoretically this is possible. An overdose of the probiotic acipol may well occur under the following conditions:
- If a person is self-medicating and has incorrectly calculated the dose of the drug.
- If a child takes a medicine left in a visible place and eats a lot of capsules.
- If a person, in an attempt to recover faster, has significantly exceeded the dose of the drug.
In addition, symptoms of overdose may occur in people with particular sensitivity to the components of the drug, even if they take a therapeutic dose. In case of an overdose of this drug, all the side effects are severe; such abuse of acipol does not threaten anything else. If a child or adult drinks too many probiotic capsules, the following unpleasant conditions occur:
- bloating;
- constant rumbling and seething in the stomach;
- stool disorder;
- in some cases there may be nausea.
How to use the medicine
Only a specialist can establish a drug treatment regimen. Treatment options depend on the severity of the problem and how the disease progresses. The capsule does not need to be cracked, but swallowed whole and washed down with plenty of drinking water.
If the patient has an acute intestinal disease, then you need to drink 4 capsules per day 25 minutes before meals. The average duration of the treatment course is a week. It is not recommended to take longer than 10 days, while other probiotics are used for a long time. This is a significant advantage of the composition.
Patients claim that the capsules are very convenient and easy to take, they are not large in size.

Reviews of Acilact candles
Most often, reviews of Acylact suppositories are found on forums dedicated to women's health. In particular, the treatment of various ailments of the reproductive system. According to women, Acylact is a safe and effective remedy that helps normalize the vaginal microflora.
Most patients are satisfied with the result of treatment and the progress of therapy. Candles are inexpensive, but their effect is significant. The good news is that they can be combined with other medications without fear of harmful interactions.
Patient review
There are also negative opinions. True, they are not associated with a therapeutic effect. Girls complain that the suppositories are not of very good quality, they crumble and melt almost instantly in their hands. They are also in inconvenient packaging; it takes a lot of effort to remove the candle.
As for the opinions of doctors, they are not as rosy as those of patients. Approximately 70% of gynecologists believe that Acylact suppositories are another useless medicine that does not restore the vaginal microflora in any way and does not increase local immunity. In other words, it does not correspond to the properties declared by the manufacturer. Moreover, the remedy does not prevent candidiasis, but, on the contrary, can provoke it.
Doctors believe that Acilact is a meaningless prescription that some doctors make on the principle of “so it will be.” And as an alternative, they recommend proven probiotics in tablet form that really work.
