Dosage forms of Berocca Plus:
- film-coated tablets: oblong, biconvex, from grayish-orange to pale orange in color (10 pcs. in blisters, in a cardboard pack of 3, 6 or 10 blisters; 20 pcs. in blisters, in a cardboard pack of 3 or 5 blisters);
- effervescent tablets: flat-cylindrical in shape, from light orange to pale orange in color, with darker and lighter inclusions, when dissolved in water, they emit bubbles, the resulting solution with the smell of orange (in an aluminum or polypropylene cylinder: 10 pcs., in a cardboard box 1 or 2 cylinders; 15 pcs., in a cardboard box 1, 2 or 3 cylinders).
In 1 film-coated tablet the content of active ingredients is:
- vitamin C (ascorbic acid) – 500 mg;
- vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate) – 15 mg;
- vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – 15 mg;
- vitamin B3 (nicotinamide) – 50 mg;
- vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate) – 23 mg;
- vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) – 10 mg;
- vitamin B8 (biotin) – 0.15 mg;
- vitamin B9 (folic acid) – 0.4 mg;
- vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) – 0.01 mg;
- magnesium (in the form of magnesium oxide light and magnesium hydroxycarbonate) – 100 mg;
- calcium (in the form of calcium pantothenate and calcium carbonate) – 100 mg;
- zinc (in the form of zinc citrate trihydrate) – 10 mg.
Auxiliary components: mannitol (E421), lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium (E468), povidone K90 (E1201), magnesium stearate (E572), talc (E553b).

The pharmacological effect of Berocca Plus is due to the combined composition of vitamins and microelements:
- B vitamins: participate in the synthesis of neurotransmitters and in many other metabolic reactions;
- Vitamin C: biological antioxidant, actively participates in the process of inactivation of free radicals, affects the function of leukocytes and folic acid metabolism, increases the absorption of iron in the small intestine. Normalizes capillary permeability, potentiates the formation of connective and bone tissue;
- Calcium: a mineral that is essential for the functioning of enzyme systems and in most physiological processes, and in combination with vitamin B6 and magnesium contributes to the transmission of nerve impulses;
- Magnesium: participates in protein synthesis, fatty acid metabolism, sugar oxidation and other reactions;

Overdose

- thiosemicarbazone, 5-fluorouracil: help neutralize thiamine;
- antacids: inhibit thiamine resorption;
- aminosalicylic acid, neomycin, histamine H2 receptor blockers: reduce the absorption of cyanocobalamin;
- acetylsalicylic acid: reduces the absorption of ascorbic acid by approximately 1/3;
- oral contraceptives: may reduce serum levels of folic acid, cyanocobalamin, pyridoxine and ascorbic acid;
- deferoxamine: when taken daily with ascorbic acid at a dose of 500 mg, it may cause transient dysfunction of the left ventricle.
