VoskoPran is a ready-made medicinal and dressing material that is easy to use both for medical personnel and for the patient himself. This disposable dressing is made of a textile base (polyamide mesh), impregnated with wax, on which ointment is applied. The bandage is protected on both sides by polypropylene films and packed in multilayer packaging material for long-term storage.
There are several types of VoskoPran dressings, which differ in the type of ointment used and size:
- Bandage without ointment, size 7.5x10 cm (30 pieces per package);
- Anti-inflammatory dressing with Levomekol ointment, sizes 5x7.5 cm and 10x10 cm (5 and 10 pieces per package, respectively);
- Antimicrobial bandage with 5% dioxidine ointment, sizes 5x7.5 cm (5 pieces per package) and 10x10 cm (10 and 30 pieces per package);
- Healing bandage with 10% methyluracil ointment in sizes 5x7.5 cm (5 pieces per package), 10x10 cm (10 and 30 pieces each), 10x25 cm (10 pieces each), 10x100 cm (1 pcs per package);
- Antibacterial dressing with Povidone-Iodine ointment in sizes 10×10 cm (10 pieces per package), 10×25 cm (10 pieces each), 10×100 cm (1 piece per package).
Description
Voskopran - dressings for wound care. Protects against mechanical stress, contamination and chemical irritation of the wound, wound infection, and drying out of the wound. They influence the healing processes by cleaning the wound, creating a microclimate that promotes healing and maintaining the wound at rest. The properties are determined by the type of drug applied. They are used to provide first aid for injuries and burns, for the treatment of granulating wounds (waxpran with wax); for the treatment of purulent wounds (voskopran with levomekol ointment); to accelerate the healing of wounds, burns, trophic ulcers (voskopran with methyluracil ointment).
Indications for use
VoskoPran is a product intended for wound care. It protects from mechanical influences (friction, impact, pressure), from contamination, chemical irritation, secondary infection, drying out of physiological fluids (electrolytes), and also maintains an optimal temperature for healing. In addition, the dressing cleans the wound and creates a microclimate that promotes rapid wound regeneration.
During the cleaning phase, VoskoPran, due to a mesh base with a special weaving of cells, absorbs excess exudate, including harmful microorganisms (passes it into the secondary dressing), accelerates the physiological mechanisms of cleaning. Due to its properties, at the initial (inflammatory) stage of the wound process, the material does not stick to the wound, while the ointment it contains penetrates into its deep layers.
During the granulation phase, the product stimulates angiogenesis (the process of formation of new blood vessels in tissues) and helps fill the defect with collagen fibers. As soon as the cleansing process is completed, due to the wax, the bandage adheres to the surface of the skin, is perceived as a biological scab and helps the formation of epithelium.
During the epithelization phase, VoscoPran improves cellular respiration and accelerates cell migration. Gradually, with the healing process, the bandage naturally moves away from the wound, forming a smooth surface in its place.
More specific pharmacological properties of the drug are determined by the type of drug applied to the bandage.
Without an ointment coating, VoskoPran can be used as a stand-alone treatment for clean wounds and injuries in the granulation stage, such as burns, frostbite and trophic ulcers. In addition, such material can be used in combination with ointment prescribed by a doctor on other wounds.
A dressing with Levomekol ointment simultaneously provides anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial (protective against infection) effects. It is used to treat trophic ulcers, frostbite, diaper rash, bedsores, infected and purulent wounds, chemical, thermal and radiation burns of I-III degrees and purulent-inflammatory skin diseases.
A bandage with dioxidine ointment 5% provides lasting antimicrobial protection and promotes epithelization of wounds. This type of VoskoPran, according to the instructions, is intended for the treatment of superficial and deep infected and purulent wounds, as well as long-term non-healing injuries, such as pustular skin diseases, various types of burns of I-III degrees, bedsores and trophic ulcers.
A bandage with 10% methyluracil ointment has a wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates regeneration processes. The use of VoskoPran of this type is indicated for the speedy healing of granulating, sluggish-healing and clean wounds, including boils, photodermatoses, dermatitis, burns and postoperative sutures.
A bandage with Povidone-Iodine ointment is intended for the treatment of fungal and bacterial infectious diseases of the skin, bedsores, burns of I-III degrees, infectious dermatitis, trophic ulcers, wounds and abrasions, as well as for the prevention of wound infection.

Directions for use and dosage
Voskopran dressings are used as an external wound care product. Before use, the packaging is opened along the cut line, and the coating with protective layers is removed. If required, use scissors to cut out a fragment of the desired shape and size and, having previously removed one protective layer from it, apply it to the wound so that the edges of the dressing protrude half a centimeter beyond the wound surface. After a minute or two, the second protective layer is removed. Then apply a sterile gauze pad to the covering and fix it with a plaster or bandage.

How to apply?
Voskopran with methyluracil is intended for external use. The cutting line is indicated on the packaging. It is necessary to open the package and take out the product covered with protective covers. Next, the protective coating is removed from the ointment layer and a bandage is attached. It is recommended to apply the product so that it covers not only the wound, but also at least 5 mm along its edges. After a couple of minutes, remove the second protective covering and cover the area with sterile gauze. For fixation, you must use a medical bandage.
