The active ingredient is Fluocinol acetonide, which is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid. The drug is very well absorbed (absorbed) through the skin. Even a small dose of Flucinar (less than 2.0 g) applied to the skin leads to inhibition of the pituitary-adrenal system and causes a decrease in ACTH production.
The drug has a good anti-inflammatory effect due to the inhibition of prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
