The drug suppresses the severity of infections caused by human papillomavirus , parvovirus , herpes , canine distemper , etc.
The drug reduces the activity of bacteria: salmonella , E. coli , chlamydia , staphylococci , ureaplasma , mycoplasma , etc. The drug is of peptidoglycan nature .
Immunomax activates several parts of the immune defense system at once:
- NK cells . When exposed to the drug after 3 hours, the expression of CD69 activation molecules increases, while the cytolytic activity of these cells increases 3 times.
- 4 hours after administration of the drug, circulating monocytes begin to intensively secrete cytokines : tumor necrosis factor (alpha), interleukin-1 beta, interleukin-8.
- Activation of neutrophil granulocytes is carried out due to the action of monocytes , while Immunomax does not have a direct effect on neutrophil granulocytes. Monocytes secrete interleukin-8, which activates neutrophil granulocytes (the effect is observed one day after drug intake).
- Tissue macrophages enhance the production of bactericidal substances and the formation of antibodies in the fight against foreign agents.

Immunomax is a line of antiviral, immunomodulatory agents used in the treatment of a number of viral diseases. Available in the form of powder in capsules for oral administration and lyophilized powder for intramuscular injection.
In the treatment of human papillomavirus, Immunomax injections are considered more effective. Powder for injection helps to cope with the causative agent of the disease, and also helps to cleanse the skin of tumors caused by HPV.
Immunomax eliminates the following types of papillomas:
- Filiform papillomas . One of the most common types of epidermal growths provoked by the activity of papillomavirus in the blood. They grow not outward, but inside the epidermis. They are usually formed in a single copy. The appearance of several spines nearby at once indicates a strong concentration of the virus in the body.
This result is achieved thanks to the body’s ability to respond to the main active ingredient included in Immunomax - acidic peptidoglycan from potato sprouts. This biologically active polysaccharide is obtained by extracting plant raw materials (from potato tuber sprouts), followed by extraction and keeping the substance for 16-18 hours at a temperature of 20°C. Then separation, twenty-day aging and fractionation by molecular weight, concentration and drying are carried out. The result is a white powder, ready for dilution and injection.
Immunomax is produced by the Russian pharmaceutical company. The drug is packaged in dark glass bottles. Comes with 3 ampoules in a cardboard box. Immunomax is supplemented with instructions for use. Available in pharmacies with a doctor's prescription.

The contents of the bottle must be dissolved in 1 ml of distilled water for injection.
For adults, drugs are prescribed 100 units intramuscularly once a day. The course of treatment includes 6 injections: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 days.
For recurrent anogenital warts, the dose of the drug is increased to 200 units, and at the same time destruction of the warts is carried out (electrocoagulation, solcoderm, cryodestruction, laser destruction).
