Reviews

Oleg Petrovich Stool analysis showed a reduced amount of beneficial E. coli and the presence of pathogenic bacteria. The gastroenterologist diagnosed dysbacteriosis and prescribed Colibacterin to restore the microflora. Took 30 minutes before meals, diluted the powder in tea or compote. After five days, the stool completely returned to normal, and intestinal pain decreased. A week later I was completely healthy, my appetite improved. A repeat stool test showed that the drug completely helped me. The only downside I can say is that I didn’t like the taste of the powder. But for the sake of health, you can’t endure even that!

Natalya took Colibacterin for acute diarrhea. I would like to note not only the high effectiveness of the drug, but also the reasonable price. My diarrhea became chronic; other medications brought only temporary relief. Therefore, I doubted the result. But a miracle happened. True, I drank for a long time, about a month, but the results pleased me. I recommend everyone have it just in case. It helps quickly and does not cause side effects.

Complete information on the drug Colibacterin

Normal human microflora consists of microorganisms that populate various parts of the gastrointestinal tract, nasopharynx, oral cavity, skin, and genitourinary tract.

With dysbiosis (violation of the mobile balance of microflora), normal microflora ceases to suppress the activity of putrefactive and pathogenic microorganisms, the synthesis of vitamins worsens, peristalsis is disrupted, as well as the processes of absorption of nutrients and digestion.

Patients with dysbiosis, colitis and diarrhea are prescribed medications such as Colibacterin. This drug has been known since the times of the USSR: it began to be used to combat diarrhea and intestinal disorders more than 50 years ago.

You do not need a doctor's prescription to purchase medicine at a pharmacy.

Instructions for use

The article contains data on indications, storage method, required dosage, release form and composition, possible analogues, side effects, as well as conditions for use during pregnancy. This data is necessary for correct reception.

Colibacterin is a drug that helps restore intestinal microflora.

Mode of application

Before using Colibacterin, the powder is mixed with liquid (it is advisable to use water), herbal infusions, fruit or vegetable juices. The main thing is that the volume of liquid does not exceed 100 ml. Drink the suspension either an hour and a half after a meal, or half an hour before a meal.

Acute diarrhea is treated as follows: 3 tsp. diluted powder is taken every 3 hours. The minimum duration of therapy is two days after the onset of the first symptoms of the disease. Then the dosage of Colibacterin is reduced to 1-2 dessert spoons, taken three times a day. As a rule, treatment continues for five days.

Patients with colitis, enterocolitis, chronic diarrhea, dysbiosis and other disorders of the gastrointestinal tract are recommended to take 1 dessert spoon of diluted powder three times a day. The duration of therapy varies from 1 to 3 months.

If Colibacterin is prescribed for prophylactic purposes (to prevent disturbances of intestinal microflora), then it is taken three times a day, 1 tsp. This is recommended for patients who are in extreme conditions and in areas of infection, as well as in the initial stages of disease.

The use of Colibacterin in pediatrics, according to the instructions, is carried out according to the following scheme:

  • Children aged from one year to 18 months are given the medicine three times a day, a few drops. They do this until the specific symptoms disappear.
  • Children aged 18 months to 3 years are given half a teaspoon of the medicine three times a day. Therapy continues until the child recovers completely.
  • For children aged 6 to 10 years, the dose calculated for an adult is divided in half.
  • After 11 years of age, the medicine is prescribed in doses standard for adult patients.

The duration of treatment and the number of doses are determined by a specialist, based on the duration and severity of the pathology, as well as the severity of dysbiosis.

If necessary, courses of therapy can be repeated, but not earlier than after three to six months. Before repeating the course, it is necessary to examine the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract. In the intervals between drug prescriptions, people are recommended to take lacto- or bifido-containing medications.

The main problem of dysbiosis is its extensiveness - this pathology occurs in patients of all ages, regardless of living conditions and other factors. It is not surprising that Colibacterin is often prescribed, and reviews of its use can be found on most medical forums.

According to people, Colibacterin copes well with dysbiosis and helps normalize stool, both in adults and children. As for doctors, they speak positively about the medicine.

The only thing is that doctors do not recommend treating babies under one year old with Colibacterin, because this is fraught with the development of constipation. Children under 12 months should be given similar medications with a milder effect.
