Florenal ointment, instructions for use

When treating keratitis , keratoconjunctivitis , adenoviral conjunctivitis, at the beginning of treatment, the ointment is applied three times a day (later twice a day) behind the eyelid. The duration of treatment is determined by the severity of eye damage and can last from one to two weeks. In severe cases - up to one to two months. If there is no therapeutic effect after 7-10 days of treatment, you should switch to other drugs. For viral skin lesions, it is recommended to apply the ointment to the affected areas using a bandage or open method two to three times a day for 2 weeks. In case of relapse, the course of treatment should be repeated.

Instructions for Florenal drops

Drops of Florenal are instilled into the eye, pulling back the lower eyelid and blinking for a short time, one drop, 5-6 times a day. It is effective to combine drops with ointment.

The eye films are placed with tweezers between the eyelid and the eyeball, holding the eyes motionless for one minute (until the film becomes elastic). The procedure is carried out 2 times a day.

The effectiveness of Florenal ointment in the treatment of various forms of herpetic stomatitis in children has been clinically proven by employees of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of the Moscow Ophthalmology Clinic. One hundred children aged from one to ten years took part in the study. The complex and symptomatic treatment included local application of ointment. The ointment was used until complete epithelization of the affected areas of the oral mucosa. The children tolerated the treatment well, and no side effects were observed.
