Meloxicam solution for injection 10mg/ml 1.5ml amp 3 pcs ozone

Meloxicam

Good morning, curious people.
Today I want to share with you my experience of treatment with Meloxicam. I think it’s unfair that there are many reviews on the Internet about various dietary supplements, but very few reviews of classical medicines. I will try to correct the situation))) I think that many people have heard about Meloxicam tablets and injections. It’s just that complex medical words usually do not linger in the heads of ordinary people who are not burdened with special education. I recommend writing down the name of the tablets, as they may be useful to you at any time. Now I’ll explain why...

What kind of drug is this

First of all, it is worth describing the drug. Meloxicam can most often be found in pharmacies in tablet form. Sometimes doctors prescribe therapy using intramuscular injections, but this only happens in severe cases of the disease. I bought a blister pack of 10 oral tablets (7.5 mg dosage).

It is quite difficult to explain how the drug works in simple words without specialized terms. To generalize, we can say that Meloxicam tablets are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. From personal experience and reviews from people, the drug provides good pain relief, reduces fever and relieves swelling.

MELOXICAM (tablets)

, and also suggested doing an ECG.
Since there were no appointments with all the specialists in the coming days (at least she had to wait a week), she was prescribed the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Obl Pharm “Meloxicam-obl”, which was purchased at the nearest pharmacy for 192 rubles. The package contains 20 tablets - 2 blisters of 10.

Country of origin: Russia. Moreover, production is located in the Moscow region.

You can see the expiration date on the box.

The active ingredient is meloxicam, in its pure form, there are no auxiliary components. It is an anti-inflammatory analgesic.

Indications for use are not so broad: Symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, as well as ankylosing spondylitis.

Contraindications need to be taken carefully; there is quite a long track record here: these include children under 15 years of age and pregnant women, and those with exacerbations of stomach disease, and liver and kidney problems. In short, there are many contraindications, the drug is not at all harmless. Elderly patients also need to be on alert.

The method of application is very convenient, once, during meals. At a dosage of 15 mg, this is either a whole tablet or half (as prescribed by a doctor)

Tablets on a blister, the name is written down and the dosage too.

The expiration date is stamped on the blister. The tablets are not large, they have a notch, you can break them in half with your hands, or you can gently apply them with a knife)

Now about the application in a specific case. At the moment, my mother has been taking meloxicam for the third week. Take 1 tablet at night with meals. At night, an improvement became more or less noticeable after 3-4 tablets; in the morning, my hands almost didn’t hurt, they were less numb and my joints almost didn’t ache. And most importantly, my hands stopped swelling, I quickly found a way to bring my mother to clean water, in the morning I suggest that she remove the wedding ring from her finger (she wears it all the time and does not take it off), if she took off the ring right away, it means there is no swelling, if she puffs and groans - This means there is swelling again. BUT meloxicam does not have a prolonged action, that is, if you take the pill you feel relief, but if you don’t take it, the pain is constant. There were no side effects. As my mother says: this is the case when the benefit outweighs the harm)) Finally, we persuaded my mother to take care of her health and not rely on one-time medications, even though the doctor prescribes them. There are X-rays, ultrasounds, tests ahead... We'll wait and see))

In no case do I take responsibility and the role of a doctor, I do not recommend or advise you to immediately buy Meloxicam, I only suggest that you pay attention to it and consult with your doctor.

Let's not forget that we do not live in the Stone Age, but in a civilized world, where only a doctor can have an authoritative opinion, and not Baba Zina from the store :)))

Health to everyone)

Indications for use of the drug

The main thing you need to know is that you cannot self-medicate! If you feel that the disease does not go away in the first days and the symptoms intensify, you need to urgently go to the doctor.

Meloxicam can be taken to relieve symptoms and in combination with other drugs. I will write for people who understand chemistry - the tablets suppress the synthesis of prostaglandins, the main inhibitors of any inflammatory process. Once in the body, the drug is quickly absorbed into the blood (usually the effect becomes noticeable after 15-20 minutes) and eliminates the painful signs of the disease.

From the recommendations of doctors and reviews of real people, it becomes clear that Meloxicam can help with:

  • rheumatoid arthritis;
  • Bekhterev's disease;
  • osteoarthritis;
  • chronic polyarthritis.

I used Meloxicam tablets to fight the complications of an acute respiratory viral disease (influenza). I want to say that the treatment was successful. The pills really helped quickly and it really made me happy.

When is it dangerous to take Meloxicam?

Remember that any medications are harmful to overall health. There are no tablets, suppositories, or injections without side effects. Therefore, before starting to take any drug, it is important to carefully read the instructions for use and reviews of other people.

I will not list the entire list of possible complications; I will highlight the main dangers:

  • gastrointestinal tract – flatulence, nausea, diarrhea, attacks of pancreatitis, liver enlargement;
  • circulatory system - anemia and a sharp drop in the concentration of platelets and leukocytes;
  • skin – allergic rash, dermatitis, hyperemia, swelling;
  • heart and blood vessels - increased blood pressure, dizziness, arrhythmia;
  • respiratory system – an attack of bronchial asthma is possible.

There is no need to be intimidated by such a list. I will surprise you, but aspirin has no less list of side effects))) Meloxicam, like any other anti-inflammatory tablets, should be taken with extreme caution by people suffering from diabetes, diseases of the cardiovascular and digestive systems. And the best option is to first consult with an experienced doctor.

Reviews from patients and expert opinion

Unfortunately, there are few forums on the Internet where you can find a discussion of Meloxicam tablets. Usually people mention this drug in passing, in the context of general complex treatment. I found full reviews of the drug by accident on the website of the orthopedic department of a Moscow clinic.

“I turned to specialists for help when I noticed morning stiffness in the joints and nagging pain in the groin area. Unfortunately, the diagnosis confirmed my fears about ankylosing spondylitis. It’s good that you at least asked for help in time. I was prescribed special therapeutic exercises, physiotherapy and Meloxicam as an anti-inflammatory drug...”

Reviews from real people are, of course, good, but I think you are more interested in reading the opinions of doctors. Most often, tablets are prescribed by therapists and orthopedists

“Meloxicam is a good remedy for suppressing the inflammatory process. If used correctly, you can slightly reduce body temperature, relieve swelling, and eliminate pain. The main thing is to take the medicine with caution, due to possible side effects and allergic reactions...” Dmitry Viktorovich, therapist, infectious disease specialist, Moscow

There are very few negative reviews. In most cases, people express their dissatisfaction with the weak effect of the pills. You need to understand that the main task of the drug Meloxicam is to relieve inflammation, and the fight against fever and pain is a secondary result.

Reviews about this medicine

If you have personally experienced taking this medicine, please leave your review about it. It is quite possible that your opinion will be important to someone.

Patients generally respond positively to this medicine. The advantages of patients include the high effectiveness of the drug, low price and a large number of analogues. The disadvantages include a large list of side effects. In addition, this drug is not always available for sale.

How to take Meloxicam

Instructions for anti-inflammatory tablets are always included, so I will not go deeper into the description of the treatment. I took one Meloxicam tablet (7.5 mg) twice a day until the symptoms of ARVI passed. The doctor told me that it is not recommended to take such medications for more than 5 days in order to avoid side effects and increased stress on the internal organs (liver, kidneys and stomach).

I think that for the treatment of serious diseases, such as ankylosing spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis, the dosage of therapy is completely different, but here everything is decided by a specialized specialist. For such diseases, consultation with a doctor is mandatory. To relieve symptoms, you just need to follow the recommendations received at the appointment. The main thing is to prevent an overdose, as this is a serious blow to overall health.

The main advantages of the drug

In our difficult times, I consider the main advantage of Meloxicam to be its low cost. The price of tablets starts from 32 rubles per pack of 20 pieces (Pranafarm, Russia). The drug made in Israel is somewhat more expensive. I don’t know if it’s really better, but the pharmacy will ask for 150-200 rubles for the medicine (also quite affordable).

At such a low cost, I think there is no point in seriously considering analogues of Meloxicam. Probably, replacing the drug may be necessary only in case of individual intolerance. From people's reviews, I realized that Ibuprofen, Mirlox and classic acetylsalicylic acid have a similar effect.

I will finish my review. I treated the flu with antiviral drugs, but Meloxicam really helped relieve inflammation and relieve symptoms in the acute phase. Now these tablets are always in my home medicine cabinet. Among the disadvantages of the drug, I would like to note its irritating effect on the digestive system, but then I cheated and started taking the tablets with milk, thereby reducing the load on the gastrointestinal tract. In general, I was pleased with the effectiveness of the treatment. I advise everyone to purchase such a product just in case (although I hope that it will not be useful).
