By suppressing the enzymes cyclooxygenase 1 and 2 (COX1, COX2), it stops the synthesis of prostaglandins - anti-inflammatory biologically active substances that have a powerful vasodilatory effect at the site of the inflammatory reaction. Paracetamol predominantly affects the central nervous system, in particular the nociceptive and thermoregulatory centers.

2. Dextromethorphan is a morphine-like antitussive that does not interact with opiate receptors. It exerts its effect by influencing the cough center. In therapeutic doses it eliminates cough.
3. Chlorpheniramine is a first-generation antihistamine that exhibits cholinergic and adrenergic activity and is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. The main mechanism of action is histamine antagonism. By binding to H1-histamine receptors, it minimizes the effect of histamine on the pathogenesis of inflammation. Namely, it prevents spasm of smooth muscles, including the bronchi, and the permeability of the walls of capillary vessels, thereby reducing swelling and soreness of the tissues.

Mode of application

TOFF PLUS is taken orally, one capsule every 4-6 hours, depending on the degree of manifestation of the symptoms of the disease. Maximum – 4 capsules per day.
