Release form, composition

Aurobin is available in the form of a white ointment without a distinct odor in a 20g tube.

The effectiveness of the drug is due to the combination of its components, such as:

  • prednisolone (a hormonal corticosteroid that allows you to effectively and quickly stop the process of inflammation in the affected area, and also has an antiallergic effect);
  • lidocaine (a powerful anesthetic that eliminates itching, burning and pain, eliminating the need for various painkillers);
  • D-panthenol (stimulates the rapid restoration of tissues and the outer layer of the mucous membrane, primarily suffering during the acute phase of inflammation);
  • triclosan (has antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiseptic effects, which makes Aurobin ointment superior to many analogs in the treatment of diseases of the anal and perianal areas).

Improved health with first use

1g of aurobin contains:

  • Prednisolone capronate – 2 mg;
  • lidocaine hydrochloride – 20 mg;
  • D-panthenol – 20 mg;
  • excipients (triclosan, glycerol, macrogol stearate, liquid paraffin, cetyl alcohol, etc.).

Interaction with other drugs

Given the composition of this drug, you should refrain from using other drugs containing lidocaine. The likelihood of an acute overdose is low, but with improper or prolonged use, side effects are possible, implying the systemic effect of the glucocorticosteroid (suppression of the function of the adrenal cortex), as well as disturbances in heart rhythm due to the action of lidocaine.
