Positive interactions with other drugs

The interaction of Oksilik with other drugs is due to the chemical and biological properties of the components in its composition:

  • Concurrent use of other drugs
    Ascorbic acid

    – enhances the effect of antiviral and antibacterial drugs. With an excess of vitamin A, its overall activity decreases. Improves the absorption of iron supplements in the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Tocopherol (vit. E). The close relationship between selenium and vitamin E requires proportional intake of the other when replenishing the deficiency of one substance. It is absorbed much better in the presence of fats, proteins and vitamin P.
  • Beta-carotene when taken together with vit. C and mutually enhance the antioxidant effect, slowing down the aging process, helping to prevent hemorrhages and cancer.
  • Selenium is absorbed much better in the presence of vit. E and .
  • Glycerol enhances the effect of diuretics and increases the effectiveness of carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.

Negative interactions with other drugs

The following factors affect the deterioration of the absorption of Oxilic components:

  • Tocopherol (vit. E). When taken simultaneously with ferric iron, the vitamin is oxidized, entering the gastrointestinal tract in an inactive form. Bivalent iron does not cause this effect. Zinc deficiency increases the symptoms of tocopherol deficiency.
  • Vitamin C. It is not recommended to use it together with drugs containing aluminum, as it promotes the absorption of this metal in the intestines in doses harmful to the body. Not compatible with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and other drugs with an alkaline reaction. It should not be taken together with sulfonamides and barbiturates, as the latter precipitate.
  • Selenium is much less absorbable in the presence of cadmium and lead. Sugar, confectionery and other sweet foods interfere with the absorption of selenium. Paracetamol reduces the total amount of selenium in the body.

Before you start using Oxilic, be sure to take into account its interaction with other medications that you plan to take at the same time.

Indications for use of Oxilic

The drug is prescribed for preventive purposes to patients who require replenishment of the deficiency of beta-carotene, selenium, vitamins C, E. For example, there are good reviews about Oksilik, used by people living in regions with poor ecology or harsh climate.

In addition, the drug is effective in cases of poor immunity; it can be recommended to those people whose activities are associated with constant heavy mental or physical stress.

Analogs of Oxilic can only be prescribed by a doctor as a replacement for the drug.

Antioxidants, instructions for use Antioxidants are biologically active substances that neutralize free radicals. Thanks to them, cells are not destroyed by oxidative stress, and the body is protected from the negative effects of the environment. The use of antioxidants slows down the aging process of cells. Antioxidants are prescribed for a poor immune system, various dysfunctions in the body, and a deficiency of elements, which leads to weakening of organs and the body as a whole. The price of an antioxidant complex varies depending on the amount of microelements included in the composition. The main indicator of the quality of a dietary supplement is the presence of several antioxidants with mutual synergy.

Oxylic, instructions for use Oxylic is a combination of five active antioxidants with a mutually reinforcing effect. Provides protection to the body from free radicals. Vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, lycopene and selenium included in Oxilic are the most famous antioxidants. With these active elements, the body's cells are protected from destruction by free radicals. The barrier and protective functions of the skin are strengthened with Oxylic.

Release form The antioxidant complex Oksilik is not tablets, but capsules. The use of capsules eliminates irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa, which is especially important for gastritis or ulcers. In addition, the capsule protects the active components from the effects of gastric juice.

Pharmacological action Selenium protects against heavy metal salts and actively helps vitamin E strengthen its antioxidant properties. Vitamin E activates collagen synthesis, together with vitamin C, protects the skin from UV rays, and has a positive effect on the skin and hair. Vitamin C takes part in collagen synthesis, protects against the effects of stress, and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Beta-carotene strengthens the immune system and has an anti-carcinogenic effect. Lycopene is the strongest antioxidant among all food carotenoids, helps protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation and photoaging, strengthens the walls of capillaries and blood vessels. Beta-carotene and lycopene mutually enhance each other.

The capsule contains the following components:

Analogs

Complete analogs of Oxilic are not produced , but the closest effect to the action of a dietary supplement can be achieved by consuming vitamins, beta-carotene in the form of separate preparations.

Preparations similar in action to Oxylic are the following: Selenium Forte, Veromax, Duovit, Antoxinate, Viardot, Blueberries with selenium, Nagipol, Arthromax, Mitomin, Aminodar, Ecorsol, Progelvit, Bioactive - minerals, Centrum Materna.
