The drug Anuzol is considered as a remedy intended for the treatment of hemorrhoids. The drug is produced in the form of rectal suppositories. The product contains belladonna extract. The drug has antispasmodic, antimicrobial, restorative, astringent, eavesdropping and analgesic effects. The product is not used during pregnancy and lactation due to the lack of safety data.
Compound
One suppository includes active ingredients: 100 mg of xeroform , 20 mg of belladonna extract and 50 mg of zinc sulfate .
Additional ingredients: 11 mg polysorbate 80, 120 mg glycerol , 110 mg T2 emulsifier.
Solid fat is used as a base for suppositories, so that the weight of one suppository ranges from 2.09 to 2.31 grams.
Release form and composition
Anuzol is available in the form of suppositories for rectal use. The contour blister pack contains 5 pieces. There are 2 packages in a cardboard box.
One suppository contains:
- 0.10 g xeroform (bismuth tribromophenolate);
- 0.02 g thick extract of belladonna (belladonna);
- 0.05 g zinc sulfate;
- 0.12 g distilled glycerin (glycerol).
The base excipient is vitepsol in an amount sufficient to obtain a suppository weighing 2.25 g.
Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
Anuzol suppositories, due to the effects of the active ingredients, are a complex-action drug aimed at the local treatment of hemorrhoids , anal fissures and other damage to the anorectal area .
Thanks to the dermatotropic and disinfectant properties of xeroform, the drug has a drying, antiseptic and astringent effect.
Zinc sulfate is also characterized by a drying effect in combination with a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.
Belladonna (belladonna) affects the decrease in muscle tone of the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to increased sphincter tone , and its additional anticholinergic and antispasmodic effect helps prevent the stimulating effects of acetylcholine .
Overdose
The likelihood of an overdose when using medicinal joints in doses not exceeding those regulated by the instructions is minimized. Symptoms of the disorder may include nausea, vomiting, physical agitation, convulsions, urinary retention, decreased sweating and redness of the skin. The drug contains the following substances: basic bismuth nitrate (0.075 g), zinc oxide (0.2 g), tannin (0.05 g), resorcinol (0.005 g), iodine (0.005 g), methylene blue (0.003 g) and the required amount of fat base.
The components included in the drug have disinfectant and astringent properties. Like ordinary Anuzol, Neo Anuzol is indicated for the complex treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures, as well as to eliminate pain, bleeding and various infections.
Dosage of the drug – 1 suppository 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment is prescribed by the attending physician. Taking this type of drug does not cause side effects or complications, which distinguishes it from the classic drug. The only contraindication for use is hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, in particular to iodine.
