Clinical pharmacology

How it works

Dietrin contains two active ingredients - phenylpropanolamine and benzocaine. One is a centrally acting substance that blocks the hunger center, and the second is a local anesthetic that relieves the feeling of “sucking” in the epigastric region.

Phenylpropanolamine is a substance of medium activity level. It is used for obesity, in which the BMI does not exceed 30. In severe cases, it will not be enough, and increasing the dose will lead to side effects.

How to use
