What is Rutacid for? The drug provides long-term neutralization of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, maintaining a pH close to normal levels. Reduces the activity of pepsin, has a gastroprotective effect and binds bile acids. Improves the healing of erosions and ulcers of the mucous membrane.

Pharmacokinetics

In recommended doses, it is practically not absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract. The release of aluminum and magnesium ions occurs gradually, so the risk of their absorption and systemic effects is low. Hydrotalcite is not metabolized.
