Release form and composition

Florin forte is available in the following forms:

• hard gelatin capsules with a white body and a yellow cap. Inside the capsule there is a dark or light gray powder with black inclusions, which has a faint sour-milk odor. The drug is packaged in polymer jars (10, 15, 20 or 30 capsules per jar) and cardboard packs (1 jar per pack);
• the powder is dark or light gray in color with black inclusions and a faint sour-milk odor. The drug is packaged in metal-polymer sachets and cardboard packs (10, 20 or 30 sachets per pack).

1 capsule contains:

• active ingredients: bifidobacteria B.bifidum – no less than 5×107 CFU, lactobacilli L.plantarum – no less than 5×107 CFU;
• excipients: lactose monohydrate, gelatin, magnesium stearate, sucrose, activated carbon;
• capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide.

1 sachet of powder contains:

• active ingredients: bifidobacteria B.bifidum – no less than 5×107 CFU, lactobacilli L.plantarum – no less than 5×107 CFU;
• excipient: lactose monohydrate.

The probiotic Florin Forte is used in the treatment of:

• Acute intestinal diseases of unknown etiology;
• Acute intestinal infections caused by opportunistic bacteria or rotaviruses;
• Chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
• Prolonged diarrhea;
• Dysbacteriosis;
• Food poisoning.

It is prescribed when a hemolytic bacillus is detected in the intestines, when the number of opportunistic bacteria increases, as well as when there is a deficiency of lacto- and bifidobacteria in the body.

Florin Forte is an effective drug for restoring intestinal microflora that is disturbed during the treatment of diseases of other organs with antibiotics and other potent drugs.

Directions for use and dosage

Florin forte in capsule form is recommended to be taken with meals and washed down with water (if necessary, you can take the drug regardless of meals). For children and patients who cannot swallow the capsule whole, it must be opened and the contents added to liquid food (it is advisable to choose a fermented milk product). It is also possible to mix the contents of the capsule in 5–30 ml of boiled water at room temperature. Age dosages of Florin forte:

• children under 6 months – 1 sachet or 1 capsule 2 times a day;
• children from 6 months to 3 years – 3 times a day, 1 sachet or 1 capsule;
• children over 3 years old – 3–4 times a day, 1 sachet or 1 capsule;
• adults – 3 times a day, 2 sachets or 2 capsules.

Average duration of treatment for various diseases:

• acute intestinal infections – from 5 to 7 days;
• chronic gastrointestinal diseases – from 10 to 15 days;
• diseases that are accompanied by disruption of normal intestinal microflora - from 10 to 15 days;
• acute respiratory diseases – from 5 to 10 days;
• dysbacteriosis – from 10 to 15 days;
• The period of convalescence after illness is from 10 to 15 days.

Dosage

Florin forte is taken orally during meals, if necessary, regardless of meals.

Before use, the drug is mixed with liquid food, preferably a fermented milk product, for newborns and infants - with mother's milk or formula for artificial feeding.

You can mix the drug with 30-50 ml of boiled water at room temperature, which forms a cloudy suspension with black sorbent particles. The resulting aqueous suspension should be drunk without achieving complete dissolution.

Drug interactions

When taken simultaneously with vitamins (especially group B), the effect of the drug is enhanced.
